Travel to Negombo along the south coast. This is wonderful drive along the south coast. On the way, you could visit another UNESCO World Heritage Site; Galle
Negombo is nick named as 'Little Rome', located just 20 minutes from the International Airport, Sri Lanka
On the way, it is possible to enjoy 2-3 hours of wonderful river safari in a wetland/river etc.
Activities possible at Negombo; Tour around a fishing village, fishing in catamaran sails, visiting of beautiful ancient churches etc.
